Local author visits Year 6Our Year 6 pupils were treated to two days of inspiration with Colin McFarlane, a local author, who spends much of his time running enrichment courses at Kilve Court. As the weather was pretty foggy, he took the opportunity of going out with our pupils and using the misty scenes to inspire poetry. The pupils then spent much of the following day and a half drafting and redrafting their work as well as looking at rhythm and pattern and certain techniques for writing poetry. Believe it or not they still haven't finished their poems, but as soon as they are complete we shall set up a link so you can read them all.
