HAMBRIDGE SCHOOL CLUBS
Hambridge Primary School prides itself on offering a varied extra curricular and after school clubs programme. Our aim is to give every pupil the chance to experience some activity which they may have never tried before and which might spark a real interest and enthusiasm for something new or enable them to excel in a particular area.
Some of our clubs on offer include archery, multi skills, cricket, football, tag rugby, cookery, just dance and art club.
ECO Club
Hambridge Eco Club’s purpose is to make our school more eco-friendly. Throughout the year, we will identify what we can do to help our school and community and put these things in place. Ideas we have had so far include building bird boxes to promote wildlife in school, planting wildflowers to encourage bees to visit and setting up energy monitors to make sure classroom lights are switched off when not in use.
Tag Rugby
Tag Rugby Club is aimed at being an introduction to the game, where the children learn the rules, new skills and reinforce the importance of playing a team sport. During the Spring Term, the school takes teams off to tournaments, competing against other local schools, so the club plays a key role in preparing them for these matches.
